1. About this policyWingbase is made by Wingbase Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use our app or website. By using Wingbase, you agree to this policy.

2. What information we collectWe collect only what we need to run Wingbase well. This includes account details such as your name, email address and password, as well as school data that you or your team add to the app, such as lesson, aircraft details and student information. We also collect device data like your iPad or iPhone model, OS and app version, and general usage data that helps us understand how the app is used, fix bugs and improve performance. We do not collect payment card information. Payments are handled securely by our billing provider.

3. What we doWe use your information to provide and operate the Wingbase service. This helps you manage your flight school data, communicate with us about updates or support, improve and test new features, and meet our legal and security obligations. We never sell your information.

4. How we use your informationUnder UK data protection law, we use your information because it is needed to deliver the service you signed up for, because we have a legitimate interest in improving the app and ensuring its security, and because you may have given consent for certain optional features, such as receiving updates or marketing emails.

5. Sharing informationWe use trusted third-party providers to help us run Wingbase. These include Supabase for data hosting and storage (servers based in the EU), Vercel for hosting our website, and Resend for sending service emails. Each provider keeps your data safe and follows data protection laws. We do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes.

6. How we protect your dataAll data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorised staff can access it when needed for support or maintenance. We monitor systems to keep your information secure.

7. How long we keep informationWe keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data after a reasonable period unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

8. Your rightsUnder the UK GDPR you have the right to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask for a copy of your data, and withdraw consent for optional features. To use these rights, get in touch through Contact.

9. ChildrenWingbase is for people who work at flight schools. It is not designed for students or for anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policyWe may update this policy if our practices or the law change. If the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or inside the app.
